Sex Toy Materials
Plastic
Plastic is particularly suitable for smooth surfaced toys and round surfaces. You’ll find basic vibrators, bullets and eggs made from various types of plastic. A high quality plastic called ’ABS’ is used by some manufacturers this is more shock resistant, harder wearing and able to mould more precisely.
Jelly Rubber
Female friendly colours, translucent and soft flexible feel make this an attractive material for a whole range of vibrators, dildos, anal toys and more.
PVC - Vinyl
Still plastic, but a softer, flexible material, creating a more natural feel for vibrators and dildos.
Latex- Rubber
Rubber is a natural material and lends itself to soft, flexible sex toys. traditional rubber is almost always either flesh or black coloured.
‘Real Skin’
Sex toys made from real-skin do feel remarkably lifelike and are enjoyed by many users.
Silicone
This material has a great feel - not to soft but not to hard. Silicone toys are hand poured and it is more of a craftsmen product, this material lends itself to fabulous colours, swirls of movement and great creativity. Silicone is hypoallergenic and lasts a long time.

PVC
PVC is a synthetic material and is also sensitive to excessive light, heat and some chemical substances.
Wipe the outer side with a damp, soapy cloth, and refresh the inside with fabric freshener. For more soiled items, wash gently in cold water with wool detergent. Hang up to dry naturally away from sunlight or direct heat. you can use latex shine sprays to shine PVC if it has gone slightly dull. Nail polish remover, nail polish, or any toluene or acetone based solvents will permanently damage PVC by dissolving the surface. Do not dry clean. keep your PVC garments hung as opposed to folded, and store them away from sunlight to prevent fabric sweating, cracking and flakiness.
Latex
latex is very sensitive to external environment, and inevitably ages.
To get the most out of your latex, make sure you: Don’t expose it to excessive sunlight and heat. Don’t use detergents. Get a special latex cleaner it will preserve its stretchiness for longer.Use only lukewarm water for rinsing. hang out to dry naturally. Once dry, powder the garment with talc to prevent stickiness and store in a dark place.
Never use oil-based lubricants, they cause latex to dissolve. Use talc to put latex garments on, it will help make the process easier and you will avoid the danger of tearing. Use special latex shine sprays to
achieve high shine.
Leather
leather will stay beautiful for ever, all you need to do is take good care of it. The more used it is, the better it looks, so her are a few
tips:
Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. To give a good clean every so often use a damp soft cloth and specialist leather soap. Use leather protective sprays for extra shine and protection.
